Just plain good business. It is a win-win for all parties involved.
Exactly this is an example of why it pays to be generous when your in business. The media will give you attention for showing that you care, you get a tax write off, and a needing person gets a car that they needed. The media writers can go to bed knowing that they sold papers by doing something considerate instead of smearing. Everybody wins.
