I ordered mine today and only had to drop a "grand" to secure the order. I am also only paying MSRP, even written on the order form. I was told that the MSRP could go down or up between then and now (delivery). I was also told that just because I ordered it doesn't mean I will get one. I was told that dealers with higher sales volume will be allocated more challengers as opposed to a small dealer with low sales volume, also dealers in high profile( visibility )areas will also be given priority. Who knows!
