At the 2007 SEMA show, there was a hemi-orange 'Cuda concept car.

Although it is great that Dodge is thinking about the 'Cuda, basing it on modified Charger body does not work. [:'(]

Thats really a nice looking car. I think I like it, I like it alot. I would not hesitate to test drive that beast through the streets of Las Vegas. Then head South East bound and down for little R&D

 

Yeppers.....but I would still go Challenger between the two......

On another site, it was speculated that this carbon fiber car was specially fabricated for a customer and is not a "concept" car. Nevertheless, because it was shown at SEMA, I think that Dodge is attempting to assess interest in a rebirth of the 'Cuda.

We’’ll have a full wrap tomorrow of the fun around town (including more of the Dakota MX Warrior), but for now — in the spirit of all the MOPAR fans who are eagerly awaiting Challenger’s debut — enjoy a look at the 2008 Concept ‘’Cuda. It’’s been one of the stars of the show so far, creating a whisper campaign in some circles as to if this meant a return of the crowd favorite nameplate. Well, we can tell you it’’s just a show car. It was custom made for MOPAR to display at the show, created from a Charger SRT8. It’ has a 6.1 HEMI, pistol-grip shifter mated to a six-speed autostick and (this being SEMA) rolls on 22s.

No doubt, it’’s a looker and should give a bit of pleasure to those who have chanted its name on this very site. Plus, there’s a peek at the Challenger Stock concept…the cousin of the Orange.

I dunno...I'm not diggin it at all! I like the upcoming Challenger much better.

 

Dodge Cuda still doesn't sound right either.

 

If this is a new Chrylser Corp...why do they have to play be the rules? They get to rewrite them! create a little specialty brand for reworks called Plymouth!

I thought that the car looked great. Im not sure that I like it better than the Challenger, but the cuda is a nice car...it looks smaller in person than the challenger concept, which was also there...
