because ford cant make power like that with the mod motors, NA...not trying to talk down the GT500 by any stretch, but look at fords "fast" mustangs since the 4.6 has been introduced...bolt on 4.6s, especially 2Vs, have to rely on forced induction, because bolt ons just wont do it. at MF, ive seen a guy drop 25+ into a motor, NA, only to run in the high 11s? im in the low 12s with a 340 runnning 8 to 1 compression, in a 3700lb car...

the only respectably fast stock mustangs that have been built since the 4.6 came in were the terminators and the gt500...both blower cars.
the bullitt is nothing more than another appearance package from ford, but it does look cool...the same went for the new edge bullitt. i wrote a review of the new one, but i dont know where it was posted..
