I don't have pictures of under the hood, but the scoop is so much farther forward, compared to say the 4th gen Camaro SS, that the air could be much more easily channeled to the throttle body. The 4th gen Camaro SS had to bring the air through the scoop and circle it forward to get the air to the throttle body. The 4th gen Firebirds had the inlets of the scoops farther forward and the result was more of a ram air effect. I believe the same thing will be accomplished with the new Camaro (IMHO).
