I think they remove the buyer’s fee for charity auctions or give the fee to the charity. 400 K is a lot of money for a single donation and Not My Kid should be thrilled! Maybe Dodge can produce something comparable to the KR Shelby next year and get them some more cash with the actual car at the auction.
Shelby builds the GT500KR, not Ford. It would have to be an aftermarket company, like Mopar, making a Challenger. Shelby and Saleen are just two really popular modders for Mustangs, kinda like Hennessey for the Vipers and Corvettes.
