Default RE: 2009 Dodge Challenger for an investment

What's so nostalgic about the JFK years? Assassination, Vietnam, Korea, gas crisis #1, and sex scandals. Sounds pretty nostalgic to me... The worth of a 1965 Mustang to me is the gas I have to fill it up with to get it from A-B. Other cars... that's a different story. I'm the buy it and build it kind of guy. My journey includes redoing the entire car, top to bottom. If I were rich and didn't have the time or tenacity to rebuild a car, sure, I'd buy it.

All that aside, a car is a liability, not an investment, and any schmuck car dealer trying to convince you otherwise is a liar or an idiot. I wouldn't buy my car from either.
