RE: Age/experience is not reducing insurance rates
I once had a Hemi Orange 69 r/t Charger back in 1988, Had a big cam and was really hard to idle when cold, I remember coming out of my works driveway to get lunch, It started to load up so I thought i would clear it out so I put it in neutral and opened the throttle and nothing really happened, it just almost fell on its face and died, So I just let off and it went to a good idle, So then I put it back in drive and just gave it normal throttle input to go into the street and the thing just went bezerk on me and I came out the driveway totally sideways! I didnt hit anything and had it under control quickly, But there was a cop waiting at the stop sign right in front of me! I told him the same story above but he didnt buy it! I cant blame him because it was a perfect sideways burnout that had to look intentional as hell!
