Yep it does sound crazy if you have 10,000 people ordering a 2008
Challenger,Then they should be getting the cars without any problems.
And the dealers should not see any if I am corrent because all the cars are Pre sold..........
Yep I want to get a Challenger but I know If I ordered one on the first day when they were taking orders,I know
I would have had problems..........
I ordered a 2006 Stang Gt the first day that Ford was taking orders.....
Yep the dealer had no problem taking my order and the manager and Salesmanager said I
was the first to order a 2006 Stang Gt and it will be the first Stang Gt that they get in stock......
Now going 4 months foward
I kept calling fords 800# to see how my new Stang Gt was doing,,,but everytime the recording would say my
order was still in LIMBO.
But the dealer got about 5 Stang Gts in and was selling them over MSRP and mine was still in limbo....
Dealer told me that these cars are for his allocation and if I wait longer I will be able to get the car soon(what a freaking lie}
Yes I feel everyone that ordered a 2008 Challenger should get one,,,,,But now knowing about dealer allocations I would say few if any will see the car.
Unless you want to buy it off your friendly Dodge dealer for over MSRP......
Now if I didnot have that problem and others had that same problem....
I would be putting a order in for a Challenger butttttt knowing what I went though.I would never order a limited car
as the challenger.....................JT
