What's your take?
My father was thrilled when he found out the Challenger was going into production. I was disappointed to learn it was going to be built in Brampton,Ontario. I also don't like the fact that it won't be flex-fueled. Would it be accurate in saying that the 08' Challenger will be an import which uses fuel from imported oil? Economically speaking,it would be better for the US if it were built in perhaps the Belvedere,Illinois plant were the Caliber is assembled and flex fuel using American produced E85 (hopefully the 15% gasoline coming from Texas,Alaska,etc.). I have always said I'll buy a Mazda 6 built in Michigan,Honda built in Ohio,Hyundai Sonata built in Alabama or a 90% US Content Toyota Sienna over a 65% US content Mustang (US content reflecting engine, transmission, final assembly point,etc.). Thoughts, comments?
