Default RE: Production dates

I didn't mean to make it sound confusing. My dealer got tired of the kids coming in to test drive the SRT4 (Neon with 230 HP), then realizing they couldn't afford the insurance. Although the SRT4s may have been a bargain at $20-23K, the intended market had difficulty overcoming the cost of ownership. Hence, it was easier to trade them to another dealer.

The SRT10s are a different deal. Too expensive at a $47k list price for a truck that gets 8 mpg. Everybody wanted to make it burn rubber on a test drive, but nobody wanted to replace the tires themselves.

The Challengers are the first Dodge SRT8s these two dealers will have. My dealer is selling their's to me and they don't expect to get any additional 2008s after that. The other dealership in the next county has ordered their 1 2008 Challenger, but so far nobody has put down the required $5000 deposit to buy it. At this point, the dealer is still asking for a premium over MSRP. When the cars actually hit the showroom, we'll see if the premiums hold up. I'm betting they won't.
