Default RE: Would you buy the V6?

ORIGINAL: Paladin06

Well the Camry has been the #1 selling car in America for about 12 years now. Why you ask:

1. Cost
2. Styling
3. Reliability
4. Gas Milage
5. The confidence that the buying public has in Toyota's products.
6. Safety test proven in the top 5.

That's a start on the facts.
It is primarily perception.

1. Cost (depends on what you are comparing it against, it is not cheaper than the Stratus or Malibu)
2. Styling (maybe, I think it looks dull on the outside but the interior is what gets all the hype)
3. Reliability (perceived reliability, the Camry has had quite a few reliability issues which Consumer Reports has assisted at covering it up.)
4. Gas Mileage (they are actually not the best in fuel economy, the Accord is better at fuel economy and the Malibu has higher numbers than either one, but they are higher than the Stratus)
6. Safety test proven in the top 5. (Yes that is accurate)
