You know what...I CARE! I have to ride in it & frankly I cannot see the outside of the car when I am behind the wheel. I want the entire experience that the concept promises...not a Charger with a two door shell dropped on it.
Why should it OF COURSE look like a Charger interior? Why shouldn't it follow the concept interior closely? Your premises on these points makes no sense. If we followed that logic throughout then OF COURSE the Challenger should be a four door or OF COURSE the Challenger should have the Charger hood or the A-line should get the squished hump of the Charger rather than follow the line inspired by the 70 Challenger.
It is not all about the exterior for all of us and while you can hold that opinion MANY of us do not share your view. I, for one, am animated about the interior because I REALLY, REALLY, love what the concept promised. I would PAY $$ for it but I cannot because it was left in the design studio for the creative guys to wax eloquent about the cool masculine themes they integrated.
I do not mean to sound insulting. I am just responding to your points with some passion.
I agree with you 100%. The Challenger is a special car and it should have its own unique interior- not something lifted from another Dodge model. The Charger dash and guages look great in a Charger, but we are not buying Chargers!! I am going to the Philly Auto Show and will reserve final judgment until then.
