Really! When did you get your Challenger? Did you inherit it or are you rich or something?
Got it when I was 20 now it's 3 years on since restoration began.
Nope not rich, saved money since I was like 8, from collecting golf balls and selling them, road works, fish filleting, gardening, storeman, data base entree, PC work, timber yard(s) now an online business. Also selling and trading up cars at NO loss helps. Buy a car for $8,000 put $2-3K in sell it for 14K etc Plus a little help from Mum and Dad, couldn't of done it without them. I'm not ashamed of telling anyone either, they understood what a year car it is/was and helped me out when I needed it.
If we were going to do it it was going to be done right.
Cheers,
Carl
Okay, that makes sense. It looks like your good at restoring, as well as a few other things. Do you have before pictures of the Challenger to compare against its current shape? What do you mostly restore? Did you rebuild the 440, or was it in good enough shape? There is nothing to be ashamed of, those cars are an excellent investment and a dream to have. My uncle has restored a few cars as well. A 1954 Dodge Royal 241 cu. in. HEMI (the original HEMI small block), 1970 Ford Mustang (I can't remember which engine it had), 1970 Chevrolet C10 350, 1973 Plymouth Grand Fury 360 (I think its a Fury III to be exact), etc.
