Okay, that makes sense. It looks like your good at restoring, as well as a few other things. Do you have before pictures of the Challenger to compare against its current shape? What do you mostly restore? Did you rebuild the 440, or was it in good enough shape? There is nothing to be ashamed of, those cars are an excellent investment and a dream to have. My uncle has restored a few cars as well. A 1954 Dodge Royal 241 cu. in. HEMI (the original HEMI small block), 1970 Ford Mustang (I can't remember which engine it had), 1970 Chevrolet C10 350, 1973 Plymouth Grand Fury 360 (I think its a Fury III to be exact), etc.
Nope, the car was entirely restored professionally. Wasn't cheap but I felt my "expertise" was not the place for the Challenger and felt it deserved the best it could get. I was basically the parts source running around ordering parts they needed. I learnt a hell of a lot and would feel more comfortable now restoring a car myself, bar some of the major engine work (bore, hone, blueprint etc).

Yip, I have attached photos of how it looked before with one now so you don't have to go to page 1. lol
The 440 was totally rebuilt and makes a comfy 400hp and 500lbs-ft torque at the fly.
For more info and a decent read (if I do say so myself) check out my website: www.nz440rt.com
