its horrendous..interior design is part of the reason chrysler is in serious trouble.would i pay 40K for that vehicle with a neon interior...well maybe because it is a challenger...the problem is will people who have no idea of the vehicles heritage..i highly doubt it...this car will not last unless it appeals to a very wide audiuence..at this time i say chrysler failed...
Snooter, there is no way you can logically compare the Neon's interior to the Challenger. Attempting to emphasize the fact that you think they have missed the mark by making extreme comparisons only damages your credibility. They share practically nothing.
Back to the original topic, no you made the right decision. I have never wanted the first year models anyways. They have more problems, less options, more recalls, etc. Waiting until they offer more is the more logical way to go if you ask me.
The Phoenix engines are going to replace the 2.7L (finally), 3.3L/3.8L, and 3.5L/4.0L engines (and maybe if I'm lucky the 3.7L as well). No matter what happens with CAFE standards or fuel prices, V8 are still in demand.
