Anyone notice those tiny little struts that hold open the trunk. Look kinda of puny, and doesn't look like they have enough mechanical advantage over the trunk lid to be durable over time. Them babies look like they would have to work way too hard. Back when I used to design machinery there was kind of a rule of thumb that, if it didn't look right, it probably wasn't. I dunno but, just doesn't look right...
