Default RE: 5.7 R/T or 6.1 SRT

Hey MrKrisSullivan... just trying to live the American Dream!

I agree w/ headers, mods, etc.

I've got an 2006 Mustang GT. Was about to start heavy modding until I decided to go to the dark side. Good SS headers (Kooks, American Racing) cost roughly $1200. That's with the x or h pipe. A set of MAC headers will run about $800 w/ prochamber. Catback, depends on your poison but can run from $300 to $800. I've currently got a flowmaster cat-back which was $290 shipped. CAI is about $300 PLUS a tuner and tune is another $400. That about $2500 for some basic mods that I'm sure half the people on this board will do! Who don't want their Challenger sounding like a mean machine... I sure do! But with just those basic mods of moving some air, that would be about 40wrhp on a little 281 stang engine. With a 5.7 or 6.1 that's going to be allot better!

Add some basic suspension mods; springs, shocks, etc. and you have a sweet ride for about $3700. Of course that's doing it all yourself, which I will be.

sorry for the rambling.. I'm bored at work.
