Default RE: US: 2009 Dodge Challenger to premiere at New York motor show

ORIGINAL: Overpowered

Hope to hear the truth about Challenger plans.

I got a call from my dealer telling me my BX order is basically dead (as expected). The C order status cars they have coming in they have not decided how they will sell - market price driven - I feel rape on it's way.

Dealer says Corporate guy in dealership yesterday says 09 orders in July, Build in Sept, deliver in Oct. RTs will be available. Manuals will still have to wait. Dealer didn't get clarity whether SRTs would be able to be ordered.

I'm more frustrated than ever with Dodge's inability to give clarity around the Challenger plan.

What is the Challenger strategy? What control will they have of dealers to execute this strategy?

As many other posts indicate - WHO DO YOU TRUST????

Eric

Trust no one, least of all anyone at a dealership they are at the bottom of the food chair, they don't know anything. I hope that come March 12 they give us pricing info on the 09's. Somehow I don't think we are going to get an update on when we can order. Seeing as how all the 08 guys still don't know when their cars are going to be built and shipped I don't think us 09 people can expect much better come the day we can order ours.
