In short I banged her up really good Inusurance sends her around trys to find out what's wrong and what it'll cost. So they determined there was no mechanical problems and fixed it. But weird thing my transmission goes right after that. They said the clutch blew out in it. Or burnt out. And they would have to rebuild/replace it. That was the first time.
Yeah the Chevy dealership did the work. But there "best".
The second time it definatly does sound like the "limp mode" your talking about. Since then I've had no problem with the beast. (knock on wood) A tune up is do and a new set of tires but that's about it.
This sounds like that might have been the route of the problem. It is possible that they might have slipped a little Dexron into your transmission. It just sounds awfully fishy that the transmission would go out right after having it inspected and everything was supposed to be okay. I'm guessing they drained the fluid to check it. The wrong transmission fluid being used in a Chrysler transmission is a very common problem, that is why I bring my car only to the dealer when I have someone else look at it and why I bring my car to independent autobody shops to do the work as they tend to just as good if not better work than the dealerships. Was it the Chevy dealer that put in the second transmission?
