I manage a Dodge dealership in southern Ohio and have asked my sales districy manager (DRM) and he has asked his boss about this event. To the best of our knowledge there is no such thing going on anywhere in the USA. In fact the cars are all still in "C" status and will be until at least March 31st is what I am told. At that time they will start the assembly lines for production.
Of course this could all change but this came directly from my DRM of sales for the Great Lakes Business Center.
Geeze NPEIFER, why didn't you say something before this about being a Dodge dealership manager. I'm sure you can help me buy a Challenger at just a little over MSRP ? Like maybe $500 and then I'll drive out to your place and drive it home. How does that sound? Let me know OK . Oh and I think that salesman that called me said it was a NY region event and that " MAYBE " they would be driving a few Challengers back. The operative word is "MAYBE" . I was only trying to give a heads up just in case its true? So I won't bother in the future. Fatcat
