I heard one of the execs from GM say on a show on speed channel that they could meet the CAFE Standards... but not everyone could afford the price tag. So the Americans will have to pony up the coin or do as we are now and gradually gravitate towards the goal and compromise along the way. I hope I'm dead when the only choice is hybrid[&o] Oh yeah, I just said compromise. But I meant for others to compromise... I'll drive the 440 and the 340. Then the 6.1 will be my compromise. Its got to get better gas mileage than my old wedges
