thats what i have heard also and its in the brochure showing only on the R/T ---i was wondering why and thay dont show plum crazy and or the green for 2009 i would of thought these 2 colors would have been first to roll out.....i am wondering why 2008 srt is available in orange????
Maybe they are saving the best colors for later in order to maintain a high demand and enable their dealers to keep getting good markups over msrp. I don't think that Dodge dealers are having good sales of new Dodge cars right now, other than Challenger. Or maybe they are just really out of touch with what the buyers want. Or maybe they're being ultraconservative with the colors, thinking it would be safer to use mostly the same boring colors that most new cars come in nowadays. I think around 60% of all the 2008 Challenger SRT8's were ordered in Hemi Orange, so that right there proves the popularity of heritage mopar colors and should be a big clue to Dodge about what we want.
