Default RE: Interesting Proposition

ORIGINAL: MrKrisSullivan

yep just got off car and driver. guess what 4.8. SO EDMUNDS / MOTOR-TREND/ CAR AND DRIVER/. All put the GTO at lower than 4.9. None give the Charger anything under 5. Peace...
MrKrisSullivan, please don't post three times in a row, we have a rule about double posting. If you want to add a point to a post when you already were the last person who posted, please click the edit button instead.

Now on to your point about not seeing the Charger under 5 secs. I'm going to provide you with multiple links demonstrating that this is possible with LX based sedans. http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/...c_srt8_feature

There are other articles from these outlets that I have read before, but the problem is their sites are kind of tricky and I don't think they have all of their old articles listed on the site.

I ignore Edmunds because they tend to get much slower results more often than not, plus I still don't consider them to be a true automotive outlet on the scale of MT, C&D, and R&T. Their writing style as well demonstrates a bias worse than the other outlets, plus they practically plagiarize on some of their "jokes" and the sad part is they aren't even funny.

The interior is of good quality on the GTO, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I for one prefer the SRT's interior to the GTOs. A person is not silly if they prefer one or the other, it is a matter of taste and opinion, just as it is my opinion that the GTO is very lacking in its exterior styling. There isn't a right or wrong in this situation, it is simply a matter of taste. If the GTO is what you want, then go ahead and get one and I'm sure you will be happy with your experience, but just understand that the GTO will probably not be faster than a Challenger.
