your stock rwhp seems low to me...is that corrected? what kind of dyno? i know someone who has put an ls2 gto a4 on a dyno, and he was in the 360rwhp range, but i believe that to be uncorrected, on a dynojet..

your short times are pretty awesome...im amazed that you were able to pull those with Nittos. did you do any suspension work?
I'm not sure what type of dyno it was. I believe the shop had two of them, one a Mustang and the other a dynojet (I think this is correct) and mine was done on the one that has been known to show lower numbers. One thing a racer buddy of mine told me is not to worry about the dyno numbers, and take it to the track. He is right because the dyno numbers won't reflect a 3200 torque converter and (at least on the GTO's) the 3200 was good for about .4 in the quarter. A lot of guys on the GTO forums are amazed that myself and a couple of other buddies were able to run 12.teens without cam or head work.

The Nittos are great tires and a lot of GTO guys swear by them. One thing I like about them is that the wife could drive the car in the rain, and the traction was still OK. I always felt that you should start at the tires and work your way up. What good is it to have 450 rwhp if you can't launch?

I did not have any suspension work done, however almost put on some drag bags.

If I pull the trigger and buy a Challenger, I will probably take the same program with my mods. One thing I will have to do is find out who the quality tuners and quality MOPAR people are in the Houston area. I will start with tires, tune, headers and exhaust cutouts, and a 3200 or so stall. I will have to do some homework and see what a stall will do with the 6.1 hemis on the 300 and Charger, and what the tune will do. Headers, exhaust cutouts, and drag radials are pretty much universal, but some cars react differently with tunes and a torque converter.
