In either this month's or last months Mopar Action magazine they did some bolt on mods to and SRT-8 Magnum. The car ran a high 12(12.9X's) stock and with the bolts on's got down to 12.20's or 30's if I recall correctly. Great article and highlights the potential. I think a stick SRT-8 with bolt on's(no power adder) should probably make it into the 11's(with a good launch). Hopefully this question will get answered in the near future.
Low 12s? On street tires?
I will have to look at that but I'm pretty sure they used drag radials. We had a Charger SRT-8 here at Milan that ran a 12.30@113mph with pretty much the same bolt ons(no power adders). The 6.1 is strangled a bit in stock form(even for 425hp). They run good don't get me wrong but there is a decent amount still left on the table. Check out Mopar Action, it's a pretty good article. It may be online also.
