as for the super bee. in 1968, 69, and 70, it was indeed a performance trim line for the coronet, and was intended to compete with the road runner...in 1971, the super bee name was switched over to the charger line.

in my opinion, the new charger should have been called a coronet, since like the coronet, this new charger is offered as a sedan (and technically as a wagon with the magnum).
