RE: Unofficial 2008 Challenger Tracker
I hear ya, Andre. My dealers have been of little help as well. The one dealer is borderline refusing to talk to me about my car since I put down my deposit and reserved a car. I get voicemail 90% of the time and have never once been called back when requested. The other dealer is doing better as far as answering my questions (they actually told me my car is in C status as opposed to my other dealer who will not even tell me what the status is) but they will not agree on a price until it's going down the production lines at brampton. Given that they told me they sold their first car that went into D1 at $16k over MSRP, I don't have high hopes. Even the price I do have set with the other dealer is $5k over MSRP.
Outlook isn't so good on my '08 largely due to lack of communication from dealers.
If my '08 doesn't pan out, I've basically written off my local dealers as a loss and will be pursuing my '09 with Bob Frederick directly which would be out of state for me. That's how much I've lost confidence in my local dealers, I won't even be talking to them about an '09 and my FIRST step will be going out of state.
