So I have more to a rumor I heard. This is from a source to a source, to my source; so being it is at least third hand it's reliability is questionable to me. I would not normally post it, but in case anyone can either verify or nullify it, here is what I got. Hemi-Orange will not exist beyond, nor for the whole of the 2009 model year. It will be a limited run to complete the number of orders of those who desired to get a Hemi-Orange 2008 but didn't/couldn't. I have no idea what that means, but I have a guess.
If Chrysler set the limit of 2008's to 6400 but they got 10000 orders, (and? since fullfillment has had production issues, make the line fuzzy between '08's and '09's?) that would mean there are 10000 -(# of orange 2008's) = some number of addition Hemi-Orange Challengers to be built for the 2009 model year (?which were those who wanted a Hemi-Orange 2008, but couldn't get it?)
