Not sure they are building to order date. On the unofficial tracker not all the vehicles being built that are D1 or above were ordered 12/3. Another theory shot down?

So I asked the rep on the 800 line today as I am in D status too with vin 290444, and I was told the production was not by vin number. So those who have a low vin number, you might get a high build number--go figure. Also, I was told build order was based on date ordered. I am not sure when my car was orginally ordered as I bought it off of ebay 2 weeks ago for only $2500 over MSRP.
