Viper at 605 hp. This should be a close one. Lets see what happens when they are tested side by side. Some how I get the feeling the Vette will ever so slightly edge out the Viper. But I hope not. For the first time an SRT-10 Viper is the better deal for over 600 horses.
At this level it takes quite a hp, tq, and weight difference to make a notable difference. Another interesting thing is the factor that the Viper is a little less powerful, but it has more consistent power due to being NA as opposed to being supercharged. This will be fun to see how it will play out. Most likely, the Vette will win since I'm sure they benchmarked it to be a little better than the Viper, but the question that will be raised is will it be worth the extra money? Will Dodge finally get the "better bang for your buck" argument for the first time since the last ZR-1
