Well, Venthos, I know for a fact that in the two states I've lived in (Iowa and Texas), all you need to provide to get a duplicate title is the VIN number. You didn't even have to have the license number. Just the VIN. I was more concerned about something like that.
As I stated originally, I didn't know if it was a problem. I merely copied down what I found. If you feel comfortable posting that information online, feel free. Personally, I wouldn't do it, just to avoid any hassle.
