Default RE: Who has a 2008 Challenger on order?

I can only imagine the frustration of having ordered your car as early as December and still not knowing when you will get it. I didn't buy mine until last month and I'm anxious.

But consider this. The muscle car is dead, again. Oh certainly not this year, and maybe not next, but I'll be suprised if it makes it to 2010. I went thru all this back in the 70's. I was 16 in 1971 and taking on Z-28s and Roadrunners with my '65 Mustang (not stock of course). 19 cents a gallon during the gas wars. Then the made up gas crisis hit and muscle cars were replaced with pintos and vegas.

With gas, especially what we need, at $4 per gallon this year and I'm sure $5 a gallon next, the end of another awesome era of high horsepower muscle cars is nearing an end. Since we can't stop it, we can appreciate that our cars will only go up in value over the next ten years, cause there won't be no more. And at least we have them.

Unless of course I'm wrong about all this.

Is my car built yet?!
