I have never noted any tone against 08 purchasers. There is nothing wrong with purchasing an 08. Personally, buying two 09 SEs. If anything, there has been a tone by some (myself included) against the idea of buying ANY car over MRSP. But if you want to spend your money that way, feel free. Personally, I would never do it, regardless of what kind of car it is.
