RE: Who has a 2008 Challenger on order?
No what I have figured out is that in the real world of car building they are close. But not when it comes to building Challengers. It looks to me like when your car hits D 1 the clock starts. Then as you know they have a rolling 24 hold in quality that is not counted and then if they have any repairs your car gets sent to another area that takes a day or so. If your car has a repair that they need to send to there shop you are looking at a week. and keep in mind that every time they take parts out of the plant to fix cars that are in Quality check it will kick everyone back a spot in the assembly line and the newest D1 car will go back to D and so on but that clock you were asking about keeps rolling at the same pace that it started when you were scheduled.
I think they keep that clock running because they want to keep the customer service people in INDIA to sound like they know what they are talking about. like when I called on May 20th and they told me my car is scheduled to be built My 29th and ship on May 2nd and you should receive it 14 days from May 2nd. I said so my car will be here on May 16th there was a pause then he said YES MAY 16th Then I asked him so my car arrived 4 days ago there was another long hold. and he said YES. Then I slammed the phone down and
called my dealer and he said the same thing.

Are the posted Vinvision delivery dates being met? Or are they running a couple of days behind?
