I received an email from Suburban Dodge in Novi yesterday. The email said that the black SRT8 was for sale and if I was interested I should call immediately. The last time I talked to that dealership they were asking $57,000 for a black one. I didn't see the email until this morning and I sent a response asking for a price. That email was not returned yet. I hope that car sits on the lot until there is snow on it. They probably cancelled the order of a hard-working "little guy" and joined in the feeding frenzy.
That wouldn't surprise me. I didn't talk to any of the sales people. My younger brother had been in there earlier in the week and they wouldn't give him the time of day. Told him that the challenger on the show floor was sold and the owner agreed to leave it on the show room floor for one month (I figured this was BS). I have had nothing but bad experiences with that place and I will never buy a car there or take one in for services there. It is a poor dealership the whole way around
