This is my first time post to the forum. I have a 2 part question: Could someone check 8H289281 for me? I have been sitting in KZ since 13 June and my dealer states that my car will not arrive until 24 June. I live on the outskirts of Washington DC, so I find it hard to believe that it takes 11 days to get from New Boston, Michigan to DC via rail. So, the second question is: does anyone know of a way to find out what rail carrier is transporting your car and if you could contact them to speed the process up? My car is scheduled to be at a railyard 20 miles from my dealer on Friday, 20 June. However, it is not scheduled to show up at my dealer until 24 June. Why does it take 4 days to get a car off of a train, onto a truck, and to a dealer 20 miles away?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
