Default Automobile magazine- July 2008 issue

The July issue of Automobile magazine had an article titled, "Dodge Challenger in NASCAR Country."

Basically, they drove a silver Challenger SRT around the Southeast and captured people's impressions.

Here are some excerpts from the article:

"Hell yes I like it!"

"You gotta come sit in this, baby. Sit in this, it's crazy."

"Damn, this is the hottest damn thing I have ever seen!"

"Excuse me. I gotta take pictures...It's badass!"

Also, here are some of the magazine's comments:

That enormous hood stretches out in front of you, all nostrils and stripes, leaping up with every stab of the right pedal.

Everything has a distinctly yesterday feel to it.

The Dodge Challenger is magnetic, it yanks people off sidewalks like a 30-story Hoover, and camera phones whip out so often that you find tourself checking the right seat for a pantyless Paris Hilton.

It bombs down the highway like a lead burrito, whompfing over bumps at high speeds like they aren't even there. The pavement gets pummeled into submission. You feel like you can drive to South America nonstop.

The Dodge jumps over off-camber pavement like a rock star...high speed charge is relentless- the 425 hp 6.1 liter Hemi's thrust is actually more impressive at highway speeds.

The Challenger has a timeless unimpeachable quality: people who love it, love it without reservation...I realize that there is nothing wrong with that. As a matter of fact, there's an awful lot right.
