Default Mopar Enthusiast- June/July issue

The June/July 2008 issue of Mopar Enthusiast had an article titled "Challenger Now and Then- Welcome to 1970 Again!"

Here are excerpts from the article:

"The common thread betwen it and the 1970 model year goes much deeper than just a name and body profile. It's a car that tugs at the strings of a baby boomer's heart- a car that allows time travel, if you will."

"The production Challenger actually looks even more like the original than the Concept."

"The original was with us for only 5 years, and informed sources are projecting about the same tenure for the new kid on the block."

"Chrysler's production plan is for sales between 35,000-40,000."

Test Results:

0-60 mph= 4.9 sec.
0-100 mph= Under 17 sec.
1/4 mile= 13.3 sec.
Skidpad= 0.88g
60-0 mph= Approx. 110 ft.
