Exactly. I recently rented a Caliber, did 225 miles worth of strictly in-town driving and it got 24 mpg. That is exactly what it is supposed to, according to fueleconomy.gov. However, for highway driving, the Caliber is only rated at 28 mpg. That is just 3 mpg more than the Challenger SE is rated on the highway. I might have considered buying a Caliber as a second car if it got at least 30 on the highway.
