Thanks jh27_1970...yes, this is a curiousity post not a decision maker for myself. I had seen hints that the MPG was better than the sticker says. And I think somewhere on this forum I saw someone say they were getting 19 MPG.
And even if this were a decision maker, I don't see how asking means this is the wrong car. Maybe if someone knows it is consistently getting 17 MPG vs. 14 MPG that will make the decision for them. Keep in mind that "the first MPGs are worth more than the later MPGs". See
