So, I got my pistol grip shifter from Butch Kissik today via UPS. Let me say, it looks sweet! It has the old school look, but the carbon fiber grips to match the interior! I couldn't be more happy with the look. Installation was cake! The construction is great; it's a total of 3 pieces. The billet alluminum handle is shaped perfectly to fit your fingertips and the 2 carbon fiber grips slide in perfectly. The design is simple; the 2 grips attach to the billet handle via three screws that basically pull the handles towards each other against the handle. The handle attaches to the shifter post via two small allen set screws. I drove with it today and it feels perfect.
