well, a few things to consider. last year at the mopar nationals, several e-bodies sold for over a half million dollars.

there was a 68 charger with no doors, the roof cut off, no drivetrain, no hood, no bumpers, no interior..it sold for 5000, because it had the vin tag, and frame, and evidently it was a hemi car...

the prices of muscle cars has gotten SO ridiculous...your best bet is to hunt around in the southeast. if you find a plane-jane 318 car..as few of options as possible, you can get one for a reasonable price...maybe around 20,000 if its in rough shape. if i were you, i wouldnt even worry about it running...you can get a 360 out of a truck and make a good running motor (non-magnum of course)
