Welcome challenger_girl! I'm a relative newbie here also! I also ordered (on 6/13) a white R/T with the 5.7 Hemi and hood to fender stripes! Electronic convenience group, Package J (with leather, etc). But, I didn't want the Nav or Sunroof. I feel pretty happy to have a contractual agreement to get it at MSRP (I put a $1000 down in 2006 when it was announced that they would build it). Enjoy!

Been a Ford girl all my life....got my first Dodge 2 years ago....of course the Charger R/T with my new favorite 4 letter word HEMI in it...lol!
I was able to convince a dealership to allow me the pleasure of taking a quick spin around the block in the first 2008 Challenger to hit the dealership 2 weeks ago (he was sweating bullets...because the car was already sold). It was love at first push of the start button! I came back and immediately placed my order for the 2009 model. However, with the gas guzzler fee on the SRT8...went with the R/T with the 6-speed....and every possible option available! Stone White with the R/T hood to fender stripes. My order was accepted the next day....and I am officially on the "A" list for the 2009 model. I will officially own one of the first production 6-speed Hemi's and I can't wait. I'm being told I may have delivery by end of August! My only problem...I'm in the process of completing a '70 resto-mod Mustang....oh what to drive today!?
