Default RE: LX vs LY platform

If you want to feel the difference between the LX and LY Platforms and how they would effect the Challenger, drive a 1999-2002 Mercedes Benz E55 (359 HP Auto) this car is essentially the LX platform car (suspension set up should be similar to the Challenger as well) with about the same HP as the production Challenger (5.7Hemi) should be, although it is about 2 inches longer, the 300C is significatnlt longer than that (about another 3 inches), then drive a 2003 - present E55 (or 2007 E63) this car will be more like the LY platform, with the 2007 E63 being normally aspirited and having 500+HP this should give you an idea of the performance and handling of the LY Challenger, bare in mind that this is an auto stick though with very advanced ESP so you can't break them loose (unless of course you re-program the proccessor to allow for full disabling of the ESP).
