Cuda, I have felt your pain before. Ordering a Corvette is the same roller coaster ride IF your dealer does not have an allocation. The selling dealer has been informed of his/her allocations, dont let them tell you otherwise. If they do not have an allocation for an SRT8, your order will not be accepted. The dealer knows this but many will string you along in the hopes that they will be given an extra allocation from their zone rep. My advice, find a different dealer that can get you a car. I agree that the allocation system doesnt seem to work in the customer's best interest all the time, but the Dodge boys arent he only ones who use it...
