Stopped by my local dealer to see if any 08s had arrived They were to contact me when they got one in and of course they had received one a week prior had in showroom and customer had picked it up that morning so I still have not seen what a chally looks like in person Was rather upset with them since I have been checking with them since Feb and they had my telephone and E-Mail address Even the General manager had my contact info but no follow up with me. Then one of the salesman indicated they are taking deposits on all 09 models and will be selling them for 5000 over Told them I will wait until they sell below MSRP and would most likely be taking my business to another dealership since they had failed to contact me and the price they want for 09s

Actually I am not that upset now since they can ask for any price and if the cars start staying at the lot with no purchases they will be forced to sell at a lower price however I will not be buying from them unless they are the best deal in town

Has anyone else run into this issue about buying above MSRP on the 09s What is nice is I am the one in the driver seat since I control when I buy the vehicle what dealership price and if I just give up and go buy a used 3 series hardtop convert and just admire the car from others who have purchased a chally
