RE: Who has a 2008 Challenger on order?
Just got back from Sacramento in my new Challenger. I really dont have time for all the stories of people looking and wanting to talk about the car. Its in the dozens in just two days!!
On a brand new engine I got 20.5 mpg on the highway!! Thats right 20.5!! After the initial break in we did a lot of lead foot driving up in Sac mixed in with some highway miles and still got almost 18 mpg. On the way back we hit a lot of traffic and drove 80 to 85 mph when we didnt. I got 20 mpg on the way back. In almost 1,000 miles I am averaging 19.5 mpg. I put on the CAI the first night and modified my exhaust the next morning, dont know if this helped the mpg?
