Default RE: 2008 Mopar Nationals Colunbus, Ohio

The racing ends at 5:00 and I got parked around 5:30. front row, no pay, walked through gate, no pay. Went right to Chrysler area. They had 2 production superstock Challengers there. I spoke with the rep. The original superstock concept is still in Chrysler storage, these are real production versions. They had an orange 08 and a red 09 with T/A style hood and RT spoiler. I was speaking with one fellow, he says there must have been 30 new ones on the show field. He said he saw an orange one with RT stripe over hood and down front fender. That would have been an 09, but I did not find it to photo. There were 3 still on the field, black, silver and orange.

I found a still open souvineer booth. I got a program, new Challenger on cover, dash plaque, t shirt and mug commemmorating the Challenger tribure. Not a complete Mopar Nationals experience, but I got what I set out to do and was able to drive 2 hours south toward Nashville for last leg of my road trip.
