Everytime you challenge this guy he ignores the post. I paid MSRP, plain and simple. If he doesn't want to believe it, that's his problem, but the fact remains there are a number of us that paid MSRP and we have nothing to prove to this clown.
I'm confused, what poster are you talking about here? As for my OP, my roomate is still skeptical regarding people paying MSRP for an 08 SRT. I think he's going to believe what he wants to believe. As for me, I'm sure some of you did in fact get your cars @ MSRP. Specifically 08 SRT8s. That said, however, there are many dealers attempting "GT500 price gouging" and are getting away with it. Some people are paying WAY to much.
I called up Hood River Dodge and left a message for Jeremy Posey (the salesman) as a courtesy letting him know that I won't be buying the car. I did the payment calculation and even with 6,000 down on the car my payments over 5 years would be well over $500 per month. This is well outside of my budget so I have to decline. Right now I only pay $377 for my Mustang and am going to be paying it off early. I don't want a car payment for 5 years.
The Challenger is a nice car and I can't wait to race one. Especially after I get a couple more mods for my GT.
